    Dear All,
I really appreciate this blog and it has been very useful for me.

I have a challenge that I believe I can get the answer here.

I have two Network elements, SCP and AIA, the SCP runs only diameter protocol whiles the AIA runs only web service. As per my project, I want the SCP to forward request to the AIA to trigger an application on the AIA. The challenge is the protocol mismatch between the two nodes. Is it possibly to have an adaptation system that will convert the diameter protocol to a web service protocol?

Thank you all in advance for your support.

    BR

Yes – for this to happen there needs to be a DIAMETER gateway in the path of SCP and AIA.

This gateway would convert DIAMETER to web service calls and vice versa.

However, this would be a customized development – as the standard does not mandate such a gateway node.

Hi, we need to build a http interface via Diameter interface to connect to a telco billing system. Would like to seek help if you can help point us to the right direction on the best way or if anyone willing to help on a freelance basis.

    Please advice.

Http interface via a DIAMETER interface ? I suppose you mean that you need to convert the incoming HTTP calls to DIAMETER ?

  12. Kelvin said

Yes, that is correct. We are trying to link it to a telco billing system.
